We are a community pipe band based in Driffield, nestled in the heart of the Yorkshire Wolds. Our band is committed to fostering an open, honest, and welcoming environment where everyone is treated as an equal and supported to reach their musical potential. Along the way, there’s always room for a laugh or two! We believe that musicianship, like any hobby, should be enjoyable and fun—after all, why else would we do it?

he band firmly believes in ‘growing its own’ top class players by offering free high-quality tuition to all who wish to learn.  Our structured approach to learning has been developed to engage and expose the learner to the “full band experience” at the earliest opportunity.  By doing so, we believe the invaluable knowledge gained by far exceeds that of a segregated learning environment.  The learner becomes an active participant in band events and activities from the very start of their journey with us which enhances their sense of pride and belonging. 

We welcome pipers and drummers from around the area to come along and experience first-hand our ambition to perform exciting music within a convivial and supportive atmosphere.
