East Riding Pipe Band

A community pipe band based in the heart of the East Yorkshire Wolds

Welcome to the home of East Riding Pipe Band. We support a number of local events in addition to offering an established programme providing free tuition to the local area.

The band draws membership from around Yorkshire but mostly from East Riding area and has a strong tradition of ‘growing its own’ top quality players, whilst also attracting a wide range of pipers and drummers from other areas, drawn by the exciting music of the band and the ambition of the leadership team.

The band practices in Driffield throughout the year

We’re always looking to recruit new members of the band, and would love to hear from you. Whether you want to join our competitive band or just our social performers, we’d love to hear from you.

If you’re new to pipe bands, we will teach you how to play your instrument of choice and provide a grounding in the musical theory and notation we use in our band.
